Emergency Care During Office Hours
Country Place Veterinary Clinic provides emergency care services during office hours to pet owners in St. Martinville, Parks, Breaux Bridge,Youngsville, and the surrounding areas of Louisiana.
You can be assured that your pet’s emergency will receive a prompt response from our staff. These cases are taken to one of our examination rooms where we will work to achieve a stable condition while diagnosing your pet’s injury or illness.
We are able to provide critical care for emergency patients, including monitoring of vital signs, during our regular office hours. However, if a patient requires continuous monitoring overnight, he or she will have to be transferred to an emergency animal clinic.
When should you seek emergency care for your pet? - Excessive vomiting or diarrhea
- Bleeding
- Exhibits symptoms of heat stroke
- Seizures
- Sudden onset of weakness
- High or low temperature (more than 104 or less than 100 degrees)
- Unable to urinate or defecate
